Role Summary:
We are seeking a senior IT sales leader to drive strategic growth across India's private sector enterprise landscape. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in leading high-impact sales initiatives, scaling vertical-specific businesses, and forging executive-level partnerships across complex, consultative sales environments.
This is a strategic leadership position that requires strong knowledge of the systems integrator ecosystem, a deep understanding of enterprise customer needs, and the ability to cultivate long-term, high-value relationships with C-suite stakeholders.
The role will also be pivotal in driving ambitious revenue expansion goals across priority sectors-targeting large Indian enterprises including diversified conglomerates, retail, healthcare and life sciences, travel, transportation, hospitality etc verticals.
Key Responsibilities:
Business Expansion Strategy:
- Lead the development and execution of a bold, results-focused growth plan to accelerate revenue and market penetration within India's private sector.
Sector-Focused Leadership:
- Build a strong presence across priority verticals with tailored strategies that reflect the unique needs of each sector.
New Market Development:
- Identify and pursue untapped opportunities in the enterprise landscape; drive customer acquisition and deepen market reach.
P&L Accountability:
- Own end-to-end financial performance for the private enterprise segment, focusing on scalable, high-margin business.
Executive Stakeholder Management:
- Engage directly with senior executives and board-level stakeholders to position the company as a strategic digital transformation partner.
Innovation-Led Solutions:
- Champion customer innovation initiatives by leveraging digital technologies, cloud, AI, automation, and consultative selling.
Market & Competitive Intelligence:
- Monitor emerging trends, competitive activity, and client needs to proactively shape strategy and strengthen market position.
Sales Team Leadership:
- Build and lead a high-performing enterprise sales team, driving a culture of ownership, accountability, and performance excellence.
Cross-functional Collaboration:
- Work closely with delivery, solutioning, marketing, and pre-sales teams to craft value-driven propositions.
Role Competencies:
- Demonstrated success in scaling business to triple-digit revenue within complex enterprise environments.
- Deep industry knowledge across key sectors including manufacturing, retail, healthcare, life sciences, and more.
- Strong business acumen and a strategic mindset to drive large-deal sales and long-term growth.
- Excellent executive presence and the ability to engage and influence CXO-level decision-makers.
- Track record of building and mentoring high-performing sales teams.
- Proficiency in solution-led selling and digital transformation technologies (AI, cloud, data, automation, QE, etc.).
