Role Overview:

We are seeking a visionary Senior Vice President - Design to spearhead the architectural and design strategy for our high-end brownfield portfolio, encompassing luxury real estate, premium hospitality assets, and REIT-managed properties. In this pivotal leadership role, you will act as the creative and technical custodian of our built environment, overseeing the transformation and revitalization of existing assets into world-class destinations. You will collaborate closely with executive leadership, external architectural consultants, and internal project teams to ensure that every design intervention aligns with our brand ethos of luxury and operational excellence. By balancing aesthetic innovation with rigorous project management and regulatory compliance, you will directly influence the valuation of our assets and elevate the experience of our discerning clientele across the Gurgaon region.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead the end-to-end design lifecycle for brownfield projects, ensuring that renovations and retrofits meet the highest standards of luxury and functional efficiency.

- Direct cross-functional teams and external design partners to translate complex business requirements into cohesive architectural narratives that drive asset performance.

- Manage high-level stakeholder expectations by providing strategic design insights that balance capital expenditure with long-term value creation.

- Oversee the integration of sustainability and green building practices across all projects to ensure environmental compliance and future-proof our real estate portfolio.

- Navigate complex regulatory landscapes and local zoning requirements to secure necessary approvals, ensuring seamless project execution from conception to handover.

- Mentor and develop a high-performing design team, fostering a culture of technical excellence, innovation, and meticulous attention to detail.

Required Skillset:

- Demonstrated ability to lead large-scale architectural and interior design projects within the luxury real estate or hospitality sectors, with a proven track record of managing brownfield developments.

- Exceptional stakeholder management skills, with the capacity to influence executive boards and negotiate effectively with consultants, contractors, and government authorities.

- Deep technical expertise in design management, including a comprehensive understanding of building codes, safety standards, and the latest trends in sustainable architecture.

- Strong project management capabilities, evidenced by the ability to deliver complex, high-value projects on time and within budget in a fast-paced, on-site environment in Gurugram.

- Advanced communication and leadership abilities, with a degree in Architecture or a related field from a premier institute, coupled with 20 - 25 years of relevant industry experience.
