Senior Vice President - Debt Syndication - Banking/Financial Services

Role Overview:

An investment banking firm is hiring a Senior Vice President to own and scale its debt syndication franchise. This is a front-end, revenue-driving leadership role.

Origination and Revenue:

- New client acquisition across large corporates, mid-market and institutional clients

- Originate and execute mandates across debt syndication, structured finance, project finance, acquisition financing and special situations or stressed assets

- Build a predictable deal pipeline and own top-line revenue targets and conversion metrics

Deal Leadership:

- Lead the full lifecycle from origination through structuring, lender tie-ups and closure

- Structure across banks and NBFCs, private credit funds and offshore lenders including ECB routes

Relationships and Market Development:

- Build relationships with promoters and founders, CFOs and treasury heads, PE and VC funds, banks, NBFCs, AIFs and DFIs; expand the lender and investor network

- Identify high-growth sectors and track interest rate cycles, credit markets and regulatory frameworks

- Contribute to strategy for scaling the debt vertical

- Mentor juniors and collaborate with the investment banking, M&A and ECM teams

Candidate Profile:

- 15-20 years in debt syndication, corporate banking, structured finance, investment banking or transaction advisory, from investment banks, banks and NBFCs or Big 4 transaction advisory, with a proven track record of closing large-ticket debt transactions
