Position: Senior Vice President (SVP) - Cyber Policy & Cyber Academy

Experience: 15+ Years

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Senior Vice President (SVP) to lead our Cyber Policy & Cyber Academy unit.

The ideal candidate will be a visionary leader with over 15 years of experience in cybersecurity policy and capacity-building.

You will be responsible for developing a strategic vision, driving the implementation of cyber policies in alignment with key regulatory frameworks, and building a world-class cyber training and education ecosystem.

This role requires proven leadership in a policy advisory or Center of Excellence (CoE) environment and a deep understanding of BFSI regulations.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership & Policy Development:

- Develop and implement a strategic vision for the Cyber Policy & Cyber Academy Unit.

- Define, advocate for, and drive the implementation of advanced cybersecurity policies in alignment with a range of regulatory guidelines, including RBI, SEBI, PCI-DSS, NIST, and Data Protection frameworks.

Cybersecurity Education & Capacity Building:

- Design, develop, and deliver comprehensive cybersecurity training and awareness programs.

- Tailor educational content for a diverse audience, including industry experts, academia, and customers.

- Build and lead the Cyber Academy to enhance cybersecurity skills across the industry.

Ecosystem Collaboration & Engagement:

- Collaborate with key stakeholders, including regulators, universities, and industry partners, to strengthen the broader cyber ecosystem.

- Act as a thought leader and subject matter expert, representing the organization in external forums and discussions on cybersecurity policy.

Required Skills & Experience

Core Experience:

- 15+ years of experience in cybersecurity, with a strong background in policy and capacity-building.

- Proven leadership in setting up or leading a Center of Excellence (CoE) or a policy advisory environment.

Technical & Regulatory Knowledge:

- Deep understanding of BFSI (Banking, Financial Services, and Insurance) regulations and cybersecurity frameworks.

- Expertise in compliance standards such as PCI-DSS, NIST, and Data Protection.

Leadership & Communication:

- Excellent communication, leadership, and program management skills.

- Demonstrated ability to engage with and influence senior stakeholders, both internally and externally.

Preferred Skills

- A strong network within regulatory bodies, academic institutions, and the cybersecurity industry.

- Experience in designing and launching scalable online and in-person training programs.

- Advanced knowledge of emerging cyber threats and technologies
