Key Roles & Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a long-term broker engagement strategy to maximize business potential across product lines.
- Conduct quarterly and annual business reviews with broker leadership teams, including performance insights, pipeline movements, conversions, and profitability trends.
- Drive trust-based partnerships ensuring collaboration, transparency, and alignment on growth objectives.
- Lead growth planning for the Large Market segment through brokers, ensuring strong pipeline development and conversion.
- Track and improve metrics such as hit ratios, renewal retention, pricing discipline, and business profitability.
- Provide strategic direction to regional teams, ensuring strong execution of broker-led business plans.
- Coach and mentor frontline distribution leaders for effective broker engagement and negotiation.
- Partner with underwriting, claims, operations, actuarial, and product teams to ensure seamless end-to-end delivery for broker-sourced accounts.
- Ensure timely resolution of escalations related to service, claims, or policy issuance.
- Provide periodic analytics, MIS, and insights to management on broker performance and market opportunities.
- Support key renewals, strategic pitches, and sector-specific large deals.
- Strengthen brand visibility and perception through broker-led forums and market interactions.
- Ensure adherence to IRDAI guidelines, internal governance protocols, distributor compliance requirements, and audit standards.
Key Requirements Education & Certificates:
- Masters degree in Business Administration, Insurance, Risk Management, Finance, or a related field (MBA preferred).
- Professional certifications such as III, ACII, CPCU, or equivalent are added advantages.
Key Requirements - Experience & Skills:
- 15 to 20 years of experience in corporate insurance, broking, distribution leadership, or strategic account management.
- Strong background in managing large-market or corporate portfolios across multiple product lines.
- Strong strategic thinking and ability to influence senior stakeholders internally and externally.
- Deep understanding of commercial insurance products, underwriting principles, and regulatory frameworks.
- Exceptional relationship-building, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Strong business acumen with an analytical approach to portfolio and performance management.
- High executive presence, strong problem-solving skills, and comfort in high-stakes negotiations.
- Leadership ability to inspire, mentor, and build high-performing teams.
