About the Role:
We are seeking a dynamic business leader to drive growth, partnerships, and market development for a large-scale digital commerce ecosystem. The role requires strategic vision, strong commercial acumen, and proven ability to scale businesses across diverse categories and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead overall business strategy and execution for a multi-stakeholder digital commerce platform.
- Drive adoption and growth across categories including retail, logistics, services, and financial products.
- Build and nurture high-impact partnerships with enterprises, SMEs, startups, government bodies, and ecosystem players.
- Develop go-to-market models, pricing strategies, and growth frameworks to accelerate adoption.
- Collaborate with technology, operations, and policy teams to ensure seamless execution and sustainable business growth.
- Represent the organization in industry forums, building thought leadership and stakeholder trust.
- Lead, mentor, and scale a high-performing business development and partnerships team.
Requirements:
- 15-20 years of experience in business leadership roles in digital, internet, consumer tech, e-commerce, fintech, or platform-led organizations.
- Proven track record of building businesses at scale, managing P&L, and driving growth through partnerships.
- Strong exposure to ecosystem building with diverse stakeholders - enterprises, startups, MSMEs, regulators, and policy institutions.
- Ability to operate in fast-evolving environments with comfort in ambiguity and complexity.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- MBA or equivalent from a Tier-1 institution preferred.
