Retail Leasing Professional

We are seeking a seasoned Retail Leasing Professional to lead and execute leasing strategies for Social Experiences across our Business Parks portfolio in Mumbai & Pune. The ideal candidate will have 10-15 years of relevant experience, particularly in leasing big box formats, anchor stores, and vanilla/in-line retail units. A thorough understanding of mall back-of-house operations and support infrastructure is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

- Identify prospective tenants, conduct negotiations, and finalize lease agreements with international brands and select Indian brands

- Strategize tenant mix to align with the overall positioning and customer profile of each development.

- Build and maintain strong industry relationships with brands, brokers, consultants, and real estate networks.

- Conduct market research and competitive benchmarking to optimize lease terms and asset profitability.

- Coordinate with legal teams for execution of definitive documents, compliance checks, and registration processes.

- Liaise with asset management, design, and fit-out teams to ensure timely handovers and store openings.

- Plan and oversee back-of-house operations, including service corridors, utility connections, and common area infrastructure critical to tenant operations.

- Support space reallocation, lease renewals, and optimization strategies across the Social Experience portfolio.

- Provide inputs on layout planning, zoning, circulation, and operational feasibility during new development or refurbishment stages.

Qualifications:

- Minimum 10-15 years of retail leasing experience, preferably in institutional retail malls in Mumbai

- Demonstrated success in leasing key formats like big boxes, anchor tenants, and inline stores.

- Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship management skills.

- Operational understanding of mall support systems and back-end infrastructure.
