Job Overview:
We are seeking a seasoned and dynamic - Senior Training Manager to lead end-to-end learning initiatives in a manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will bring deep experience in developing competency-based training programs, implementing digital learning platforms, and driving cultural change through strategic learning interventions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and manage a comprehensive training roadmap tailored to the needs of the manufacturing and project-based functions
- Collaborate closely with HR, Plant Operations, and Technical Teams to assess skill gaps and training needs
- Develop and implement onboarding, role-based, and continuous learning programs
- Leverage digital tools (LMS, e-learning platforms, virtual classrooms) to enhance learning effectiveness
- Define and manage competency matrices and job architecture frameworks
- Lead the development of certification programs and trainer networks
- Monitor training effectiveness through performance metrics, feedback, and continuous improvement
Required Skills & Experience:
- Minimum - 10 years of experience in Corporate Training / L&D roles, preferably in a manufacturing or engineering organization
- Global L&D Experience is Mandatory
- Proven track record of developing and delivering structured training programs for diverse roles
- Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS), digital content creation, and e-learning tools
- Strong understanding of competency frameworks and performance-based learning
- Excellent project management, stakeholder engagement, and communication skills
- Certification in Project Management, Instructional Design, or L\&D (preferred)
