Job Overview:
- We are hiring a Senior Trainer who can own AMFI/IRDA certification outcomes while simultaneously building real-world HNI pitching capability across Relationship Managers.
- This is a dual-impact role supporting the RM Excellence Academy. You will train, shadow, certify, and coach frontline RMs to sell Mutual Funds and Insurance products responsibly and effectively to HNI clients.
- You will work hands-on with batches of RMs, combining technical depth, compliance rigor, and sales storytelling.
Key Responsibilities:
1) Training & HNI Sales Mastery (50%):
- Shadow and coach ~50 RMs per quarter using a 1:4 live coaching model
- Deliver 60 hours of live shadowing per RM across HNI interactions
- Conduct pitch simulations for - 1-10 Cr portfolios
- Train RMs on objection handling, needs discovery, and portfolio articulation
- Provide live CRM coaching during calls (Salesforce / Zoho)
2) AMFI / IRDA Certification Ownership (40%):
- Own end-to-end NISM Series V-A and IRDA IC-38 certification process
- Design and deliver structured exam prep using:
- 200+ MCQs
- 3 mock exams per cohort
- Drive minimum 75% first-attempt pass rate and 90% final pass rate
- Run 1:1 remediation for RMs scoring below 80%
- Track performance via LMS and certification registry
3) Content, Compliance & Calibration (10%)
- Create ready reckoners, battle cards, and objection-handling scripts
- Ensure all training content aligns with SEBI and IRDAI guidelines
- Share quarterly regulatory updates with RMs
- Build case studies around KYC, AML, and UHNI scenarios
- Participate in trainer peer reviews and calibration sessions
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
Certification pass rate:
- 75% first attempt
- 90% final pass
- RM pitch conversion:
- 25% first HNI client conversion post-training
Skill improvement score:
- +2.5 points (pre vs post assessment on 1-5 scale)
Shadowing delivery:
- 60 hours per RM (tracked via LMS)
Mock exam average:
- 85%
RM NPS:
- 8/10 trainer feedback score
Candidate Profile
Must-Have
- 5+ years of experience in training (sales or wealth management)
- 3+ years specifically handling AMFI / IRDA exam preparation
- Strong exposure to HNI wealth sales and client pitching
- Hands-on understanding of Mutual Funds, Insurance, Taxation
- Comfortable delivering high-energy, interactive sessions
- Bilingual: English & Hindi
- Based in or willing to relocate to Gurugram
Good to Have
- AMFI (NISM Series V-A) certified
- IRDA IC-38 certified
- Knowledge of PMS, AIFs, Equity Markets
- Prior experience in RM academies or wealth firms
