Senior Tax Associate - Estate & Trust - BFSI

Description:

We are looking for an experienced US Tax professional with strong expertise in Estate & Trust taxation to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in preparing and reviewing Form 1041 tax returns and a solid understanding of US tax regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

- Prepare and review US Estate & Trust tax returns (Form 1041).

- Handle complex tax computations, supporting schedules, and workpapers.

- Review tax returns for accuracy, completeness, and compliance.

- Research and interpret US tax regulations related to Estates and Trusts.

- Identify potential tax issues and provide appropriate resolutions.

- Coordinate with internal teams and, where required, communicate with clients/stakeholders.

- Meet assigned deadlines while maintaining high-quality work.

- Support and mentor junior team members on technical tax matters.

Skills:

Must-Have Skills:

- 5 - 8 years of relevant experience in US Taxation.

- Strong hands-on experience with Form 1041 - U.S. Income Tax Return for Estates and Trusts.

- Good knowledge of US Estate & Trust taxation.

- Experience in tax return preparation and review.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
