Description:
We are currently hiring a senior logistic specialist who has experiencing inbound and outbound operations along supply chain and warehouse operations based in Gurgaon for a candidate with mandatory experience in import and exports along with customs clearance.
Trade / Delivery Control:
- Collect monthly outbound/return forecasts and plan efficiently.
- Track on-time delivery (inbound & outbound)
- Manage regional transfer actions (exports & imports) within the in-house company.
- Monitor and update promptly of the confirmed vs requested production/delivery schedule of each milestone dates to give each stakeholder a clear picture for production/delivery status for sales deliveries.
- If any irregular events (ex: production/delivery delay etc) occurs, strictly keep the planned/requested production/delivery schedule to meet the product launch date of all the categories / all sales channels, especially for the "non-delayable product" (Seasonal product campaign/monthly focus/collaboration/special project items, etc...) by proactively identifying/reporting the issue and consult/develop/conduct solutions/negotiations with stakeholders.
- To conduct smooth customs clearance/import/export of the product delivery, comprehend the latest trading laws and regulations, and make adjustment with the factory/freight forwarder regarding the required documents/packaging methods etc,
- Manage and track sales samples and uniform's production/delivery status to meet the planned delivery date.
- Report and give insight to the stakeholders on potential excess or shortages in inventory
- Draw and propose a simulation plan related to logistics which contributes to the business growth.
Warehouse Operation:
- Develop, control, and manage the operation of logistics flow unique to the in-house company (managing warehouse, receiving, order receipt, shipping, returns, and post-return operations).
- Monitor operation and partner with logistics provider to drive continuous improvement and ensure successful logistics flow through achievement of KPI.
- Respond to disposal (supervise DCs to ensure on-time completion)
- Assist in executing contracts with logistics partners regarding the in-house company's matter.
Management:
- Lead and manage a logistics project when assigned by collaborating with Onitsuka Tiger HQ and India team.
- Conduct outstanding logistics management/decisions through multi-dimensional approach considering forecast & sales order balance and pull forward & push back methodology to optimize capacities & constraints including factory capacity, minimum & multiple order quantities, production lead time, etc.
- Manage logistics cost and invoices
- Devise logistics strategies and analyse performance by channel for retail, EC, and wholesale for the in-house company.
- Assist in managing risks related to logistics and respond to emergency situations (e.g. strikes, natural disasters).
- Assist MDC tasks such as PO input
REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
- A minimum of 5 years of logistics / supply chain management, operation experience
- Proficient computer skills: Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
- Knowledge regarding the trading laws and regulations of India & SEA countries (Singapore, Thailand, Malaysia, Vietnam, Philippines, and Indonesia)
- Strong leadership and management skills with the ability to work hands-on.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with employees at all levels of the organization, as well as with external stakeholders.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Able to adapt to environmental changes and varying needs with flexibility.
- Bachelors Degree in logistics or supply chain management is preferred
- Experience in retail industries such as fashion (apparel/footwear) and cosmetics is preferred.
