Position : Senior Specialist - Accounting and Reconciliations

Job Summary:
- We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Specialist - Accounting and Reconciliations to join our team in Ghansoli, Navi Mumbai.
- The ideal candidate will have 6-8 years of overall experience, with a minimum of 3 years dedicated to General Ledger operations.
- You will be responsible for leading and overseeing the day-to-day financial operations, ensuring the timely, accurate, and compliant execution of transactions across Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and GL.
- This role is crucial for maintaining the integrity of our financial records and supporting both internal and external financial reporting requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Operations & GL Management:
- Lead the day-to-day operations for the Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and General Ledger (GL) functions.
- Oversee the preparation and posting of all journal entries, including accruals, prepayments, and reclassifications.
- Conduct detailed and complex balance sheet and bank reconciliations to ensure data accuracy and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
Month-End & Financial Reporting:
- Manage and support the full month-end and year-end closing activities, ensuring all sub-ledgers are reconciled to the GL.
- Ensure the accurate and timely preparation of financial reports in accordance with established accounting standards and regulations.
- Support intercompany accounting and adjustments to maintain accurate records across business units.
Compliance & Controls:
- Ensure strict compliance with internal accounting standards and policies, including IFRS and/or US GAAP.
- Participate in internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and support.
- Implement and maintain robust internal controls to safeguard financial data and assets.
Required Skills:
Core Experience:
- 6-8 years of overall experience in Accounting and Finance.
- A minimum of 3 years of direct experience in General Ledger (GL) accounting.
Technical Proficiency:
- Strong hands-on expertise in the end-to-end financial processes, including Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), General Ledger (GL), and reconciliations.
- Experience with non-Indian processes, such as those in the Middle East, or other international regions.
- Deep understanding of accounting principles and standards, specifically IFRS or US GAAP.
Problem-Solving:
- Proven ability to identify and resolve complex reconciliation issues and financial discrepancies.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
