About the Role:

We are seeking an Anchor Solution Architect to drive our eCommerce Transformation initiatives designing integrated commerce architectures across platforms like Shopify, Adobe Commerce (Magento), custom stacks, ERP, POS, OMS, and Data Systems.

This role will be the cornerstone for building scalable, high-performing commerce ecosystems that connect storefronts, back-office systems, and cloud infrastructure seamlessly.

Key Responsibilities

- Architect integrated commerce solutions connecting front-end platforms (Shopify, Magento, Headless, Custom) with ERP, OMS, CRM, POS, and other backend systems.

- Own solution design and technical oversight from discovery to delivery across multiple client engagements.

- Translate business objectives into scalable system architectures using APIs, middleware (MuleSoft, n8n, Boomi, etc.), and cloud-native designs (AWS, GCP, or Azure).

- Drive data-centric thinking ensure systems are designed for data flow, analytics readiness, and AI-driven use cases. Mentor cross-functional teams and establish technical standards, best practices, and reusable frameworks.

- Evaluate and recommend tools and technologies that enhance retail operations (inventory sync, order orchestration, promise date, dynamic pricing, personalization).

- Collaborate closely with design, product, and delivery teams to ensure alignment between business goals and system capabilities.

- Act as pre-sales solution advisor when needed framing architecture proposals and shaping statements of work.

Required Skills & Experience

- 10+ years of experience in software architecture, with at least 5 years in eCommerce or Retail technology.

- Proven experience in Shopify Plus, Adobe Commerce (Magento), and familiarity with headless or composable commerce setups.

- Strong integration experience with ERP (NetSuite, SAP, Microsoft Dynamics) and POS/OMS platforms.

- Deep understanding of API design, event-driven architectures, and cloud-native microservices.

- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) especially serverless services, event buses, and data pipelines.

- Working knowledge of data warehousing, analytics, and ETL concepts to design data-ready ecosystems.

- Strong grasp of security, scalability, and performance principles. Excellent communication skills capable of interfacing with business leaders and technical teams alike.

- Entrepreneurial mindset comfortable shaping frameworks, not just executing them.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Experience working in or with agencies or consulting environments supporting multiple clients.

- Exposure to modern commerce ecosystems MACH, composable, and headless architectures.

- Understanding of AI/ML use cases in retail: pricing, inventory optimization, personalization, etc.

- Certification(s) in cloud (AWS, Azure, or GCP) or relevant platforms (Shopify, Adobe Commerce).
