Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Senior SAP FICO Consultant / Lead to join our growing team.

The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in SAP Finance and Controlling, hands-on implementation experience, and the ability to engage effectively with business stakeholders to deliver scalable and efficient SAP solutions.

The role requires extensive experience in end-to-end SAP implementations, business process optimization, and cross-functional integration with other SAP modules.

The candidate should be capable of leading discussions with business users, managing project deliverables, and mentoring team members.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead and execute end-to-end SAP FICO implementation, rollout, upgrade, and support projects.

- Gather business requirements and translate them into functional specifications and SAP solutions.

- Configure and support core SAP FICO functionalities including:

1. General Ledger (GL)

2. Accounts Payable (AP)

3. Accounts Receivable (AR)

4. Asset Accounting

5. Bank Accounting

6. Cost Center Accounting (CCA)

7. Profit Center Accounting (PCA)

8. Internal Orders

9. Product Costing

10. Profitability Analysis (COPA)

- Manage month-end and year-end closing activities.

- Design and optimize financial reporting processes.

- Work closely with business stakeholders to understand process gaps and recommend best practices.

- Ensure seamless integration between SAP FICO and other modules such as:

1. Materials Management (MM)

2. Sales and Distribution (SD)

3. Production Planning (PP)

- Participate in fit-gap analysis, blueprinting, testing, training, deployment, and hypercare activities.

- Prepare functional specifications and coordinate with technical teams for custom developments.

- Support data migration activities and validation exercises.

- Conduct user training sessions and facilitate knowledge transfer.

- Troubleshoot production issues and provide timely resolutions.

- Drive process improvements and ensure adherence to project timelines and quality standards.

- Mentor junior consultants and contribute to capability building initiatives.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Mandatory Skills:

- Strong expertise in SAP FICO with 8-10 years of relevant experience.

- Hands-on experience in multiple end-to-end SAP implementation projects.

- Extensive knowledge of:

1. GL, AP, AR

2. Asset Accounting

3. Cost Center Accounting (CCA)

4. Profit Center Accounting (PCA)

5. Internal Orders

6. Product Costing

7. COPA

8. Bank Accounting

9. Month-End and Year-End Closing Processes

- Experience integrating SAP FICO with MM, SD, and PP modules.

- Strong stakeholder management and client-facing experience.

- Ability to manage business discussions independently.

- Experience in requirement gathering, solution design, configuration, testing, and deployment.

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

- Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred Skills:

- Experience with SAP S/4HANA implementation or migration projects.

- Leadership or team management experience.

- Exposure to global delivery models.

- Experience working in consulting or large enterprise environments.

- Knowledge of financial compliance and accounting best practices.

Educational Qualification:

- MBA, CA, CMA, or SAP Certification will be an added advantage.
