Job Description: Sr. Sales Manager - HVAC
Reporting to: National Sales Head & dotted line to Management
Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic individual to lead and manage our HVAC sales division. The Head of Sales - HVAC - will be responsible for driving revenue growth, developing strategic sales plans, and managing a team of sales professionals to achieve business objectives. This role requires a deep understanding of the HVAC industry, market trends, and customer needs. The successful candidate will be a results-driven leader with strong business acumen and a proven track record in sales leadership.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales Leadership: Develop and execute sales strategies to meet and exceed sales targets for HVAC products and services across residential, commercial, and industrial sectors.
- Team Management: Lead, mentor, and motivate a high-performing sales team, setting clear objectives and providing ongoing training and support, scheduled review.
- Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities, building relationships with key clients, Contractors, Architecture, Consultant and distributors to expand the customer base.
- Market Analysis: Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer preferences to adapt sales strategies and ensure competitive positioning.
- Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with key customers, ensuring high customer satisfaction and repeat business.
- Sales Forecasting and Reporting: Track and report on sales performance, forecasting future sales, and making adjustments to plans as needed to ensure targets are met.
- Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, product development, and operations teams to align sales initiatives with product offerings and market demands.
- Budget Management: Oversee the sales department budget, ensuring effective allocation of resources and controlling costs.
Desired Candidate Profile:
Education: BE (Mechanical/Electrical) +MBA preferred
Total work experience: 15 + years which includes 4 - 5 years of sales experience in selling products to Heating, Ventilation & Air-Conditioning companies. Experience in selling to companies like Blue Star, Carrier, Daikin, Johnson Controls, LG, General Electric, Mitsubishi Electric, Voltas etc is a plus point. Industrial sales experience required.
- Proven track record of successfully managing and growing sales teams in a competitive environment.
- Strong understanding of HVAC systems, products, and market trends.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to analyze data and make strategic decisions.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a sales team.
- Willingness to travel as needed.
