Senior Role - SOP Formulation

Role Overview:

We are seeking a seasoned professional to lead our SOP Formulation and Process Excellence initiatives in Mumbai. In this strategic capacity, you will serve as the architect of our operational framework, translating complex business requirements into robust, scalable Standard Operating Procedures. You will work closely with senior leadership, cross-functional department heads, and internal audit teams to identify process gaps and implement high-impact solutions. Your work will directly influence the organizations operational maturity, ensuring that our workflows are not only compliant and risk-mitigated but also optimized for maximum efficiency and business scalability.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design and document comprehensive Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) that align with organizational objectives to ensure consistency and operational excellence across all business units.

- Lead the end-to-end process design lifecycle, collaborating with stakeholders to map workflows and eliminate redundancies that hinder productivity.

- Establish a rigorous Risk and Control Matrix (RCM) to identify potential operational vulnerabilities and implement proactive mitigation strategies that safeguard business interests.

- Drive organizational compliance by ensuring all formulated processes adhere to industry regulations and internal governance standards, minimizing legal and operational exposure.

- Facilitate change management workshops to socialize new processes with internal teams, ensuring seamless adoption and long-term sustainability of improved workflows.

Required Skillset:

- Demonstrated expertise in process re-engineering and documentation, with a proven ability to translate abstract business needs into clear, actionable procedural manuals.

- Strong analytical capabilities in building and maintaining an RCM, with a deep understanding of internal controls and audit-readiness requirements.

- Exceptional stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence senior leadership and navigate complex organizational dynamics to achieve consensus.

- A strategic mindset combined with a high degree of adaptability, capable of thriving in our Mumbai-based office environment while managing cross-functional project timelines.

- A professional background supported by a Masters degree or equivalent qualification from a premier institute, reflecting a strong foundation in business management or operations.

- 10 to 18 years of progressive experience in process design, compliance, and operational governance within a fast-paced corporate environment.
