The Role:.
- The Head of FP&A will lead the global financial planning and analysis function, supporting strategic decision-making in a fast-growing, innovation-led wearable technology company.
- This role is responsible for financial forecasting, budgeting, performance analytics, and executive reporting, while partnering closely with leadership across functions including Product, Supply Chain, R&D, Sales, and Marketing.
Key Responsibilities:.
Enterprise-Wide Financial Planning & Strategy:.
- Own and manage the global annual operating plan (AOP), quarterly reforecasts, and long-range strategic planning (LRP).
- Partner with executive leadership across functions (Product, Engineering, Marketing, Supply Chain, Sales, HR) to align strategic goals with financial plans.
- Lead financial scenario planning, stress testing, and sensitivity analysis to guide executive decisions.
Performance Analytics & Executive Reporting:.
- Deliver consolidated global performance dashboards, Board packs, and CEO/CFO reports covering P&L, cash flow, and key KPIs.
- Drive detailed variance analysis (actuals vs. plan) and root-cause insights on revenue, cost, margins, and profitability.
- Track unit economics by region, product, and channel (B2B, D2C), enabling informed commercial decisions.
Data & System Leadership:.
- Enhance the FP&A tech stack by implementing planning and reporting tools (Anaplan, Adaptive, Oracle, or SAP Analytics Cloud).
- Oversee automation of financial reporting and creation of real-time dashboards in Power BI/Tableau for leadership use.
- Ensure data integrity, governance, and integration across global financial and operational systems.
Strategic Business Partnering:
- Collaborate with Supply Chain, Manufacturing, and Product teams to analyze cost drivers, optimize inventory, and improve COGS efficiency.
- Support pricing, NPI decisions, global expansion strategies, and strategic investment reviews with strong business cases.
Team Leadership & Stakeholder Management:.
- Build and lead a high-performing global FP&A team, with direct reports across regions and functions.
- Foster a culture of accountability, agility, and business partnership within the finance organization.
- Engage regularly with executive management, business heads, and external stakeholders (e. , auditors, board members, investors).
Key Qualifications:
- CA with 10-15 years of progressive experience in FP&A.
- Prior experience at the HQ or regional level of a consumer tech or electronics manufacturing MNC is strongly preferred.
- Strong command over P&L management, operational finance, and executive-level reporting.
- Hands-on experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) and advanced planning tools.
- Track record of building and scaling FP&A functions in complex, matrixed organizations.
- Exceptional communication, leadership, and stakeholder engagement skills.
