- Market Development: Identify and develop new international markets, clients, and distributors for building materials.
- Sales Strategy & Execution: Prepare, monitor, and achieve annual export sales targets and strategies.
- Business Development: Generate leads, convert them into confirmed orders, and build long-term relationships with architects, contractors, and builders.
- Negotiation & Contracts: Negotiate pricing, payment terms, minimum order quantities (MOQs), and delivery schedules with foreign buyers.
- Logistics & Documentation: Coordinate with production and logistics teams to ensure timely deliveries; manage export documentation such as invoices, packing lists, and bills of lading.
- Market Intelligence: Monitor competitor activities, market trends, and regulatory changes in target countries.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with international trade laws, customs regulations, and quality standards.
Required Qualifications & Skills:
Education: Degree in Business Administration, International Business, Marketing, or a related field.
Experience: 10+ years of proven experience in international sales, preferably within the building materials or construction industry.
- Technical Knowledge: Understanding of logistics, shipping, freight forwarding, and international payment methods (e.g., Letters of Credit).
- Skills: Strong negotiation, communication, relationship-building, and analytical skills.
- Travel: Ability to travel internationally to attend trade fairs, exhibitions, and meet clients.
- Soft Skills: Leadership, proactive thinking, stress tolerance, and adaptability to different cultural environments.
