Senior Role - Credit Underwriting

Role Overview:

Key Responsibilities:

- Review loan applications and supporting documentation to ensure completeness and accuracy, minimizing downstream errors and delays in the underwriting process.

- Verify the financial information provided by applicants, including income, assets, and liabilities, to validate the applicant's creditworthiness.

- Analyze credit reports and other relevant data to identify potential risks and red flags, providing early warnings to the underwriting team.

- Prepare comprehensive summaries of loan applications, highlighting key information and potential issues, to facilitate efficient underwriting decisions.

- Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations and internal policies, mitigating legal and reputational risks.

- Collaborate with loan officers and other stakeholders to resolve discrepancies and obtain missing information, streamlining the loan application process.

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all loan applications and related documentation, ensuring data integrity and auditability.
