
The role will focus on identifying and developing new business opportunities, managing key client relationships, and driving growth across the Aviation Reinsurance portfolio.
- The individual will work closely with insurers, reinsurers, aviation-sector clients, and other industry stakeholders to understand their requirements and structure effective risk-transfer solutions.
- This is a highly client-facing role that requires strong knowledge of the aviation insurance and reinsurance market, commercial acumen, excellent relationship-building skills, and the ability to develop and convert business opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage strong relationships with airlines, aviation operators, airport operators, MROs, and other key aviation stakeholders.
- Identify, develop, and convert new business opportunities across Aviation Insurance and Reinsurance.
- Understand client risk profiles and coverage requirements to structure tailored insurance and reinsurance solutions.
- Lead and support Aviation Reinsurance placements, including Treaty and Facultative arrangements, across domestic and international markets.
- Negotiate with insurers and reinsurers on capacity, pricing, coverage, terms, and conditions to achieve commercially effective outcomes.
- Monitor market trends and emerging aviation risks while managing the business pipeline, strengthening client retention, and identifying cross-selling opportunities.
Candidate Profile:
- 12-18 years of overall experience in Aviation Insurance, Aviation Reinsurance, Reinsurance Broking, or related areas, with strong exposure to Business Development and Client Relationship Management.
- Proven track record in new business development, client acquisition, relationship management, and driving revenue growth.
- Strong understanding of Aviation Insurance and Reinsurance products, risk structures, and the overall aviation insurance ecosystem.
- Hands-on experience with Treaty and/or Facultative Reinsurance, including market placement, negotiations, and working with insurers and reinsurers.
- Established industry network across airlines, aviation operators, insurers, reinsurers, brokers, and other aviation-sector stakeholders will be highly preferred.
- Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and commercial skills, with the ability to identify, develop, and convert business opportunities.
