Role Overview:

As the Assets Accounting Controller, you will lead and oversee fixed assets and IFRS 16 lease accounting within a global Shared Service Centre (SSC). This role is critical for ensuring the accuracy, compliance, and integrity of financial data in accordance with IFRS and internal control standards. You will partner with regional controllers and BPO teams to drive process improvements and deliver high-quality financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

- Asset & Lease Management: Oversee all additions, disposals, transfers, and depreciation, as well as the full lifecycle of lease accounting (assessments, modifications, and terminations) per IFRS 16.

- Financial Integrity: Manage month-end closing activities, perform monthly Balance Sheet reconciliations, and ensure the resolution of reconciling items.

- Collaboration: Coordinate with BPO teams and Group finance to maintain data quality and global accounting framework adherence.

- Continuous Improvement: Drive process standardization, automation, and system enhancements within Oracle Fusion.

- Compliance & Audit: Maintain documentation and serve as a primary contact for internal and external audits.

Requirements:

- Qualifications: Chartered Accountant (CA) or an advanced-level professional equivalent.

- Technical Expertise: IFRS training/certification and extensive experience with major ERPs (e.g., SAP, Oracle).

- Experience: At least 12 years in a similar role, specifically managing BPO organizations in delivering Fixed Assets or Right of Use (RoU) Assets.

- Soft Skills: Strong organizational, presentation, and problem-solving skills with a growth-oriented mindset.

- Preferred Skills: Advanced Excel, predictive analysis experience, or previous Global Process Owner (GPO) experience.
