Job Description : Senior RFP Writer, Asset Management

Position Summary:

We are seeking a seasoned and detail-oriented Senior RFP Writer to join our dynamic team. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for crafting high-quality, persuasive, and accurate responses to Requests for Proposal (RFPs), Requests for Information (RFIs), and Due Diligence Questionnaires (DDQs) for our institutional client base. The ideal candidate will be a subject matter expert in active investment strategies, possessing exceptional writing, project management, and analytical skills to effectively communicate our firm's value proposition and secure new mandates.

Key Responsibilities:

- End-to-End RFP Management: Lead the complete process for RFPs, RFIs, and DDQs from receipt to submission, ensuring all deadlines are met with the highest quality standards.

- Content Development & Writing: Draft compelling, accurate, and tailored responses by synthesizing complex investment information. Collaborate closely with portfolio managers, product specialists, compliance, legal, and other subject matter experts to create new content.

- Database Stewardship: Take primary responsibility for maintaining and enhancing the RFP content database (e.g., Qvidian). Ensure all responses are current, consistent, and accurately reflect the firm's strategies, performance, and philosophy.

- Quality Assurance: Meticulously edit, proofread, and fact-check all questionnaire responses for grammatical accuracy, clarity, consistency, and adherence to brand voice.

- Project Management: Track multiple concurrent projects with varying deadlines and complexity. Coordinate inputs from diverse contributors and manage the review process efficiently.

- Analysis & Interpretation: Analyze questionnaire requirements and large sets of firm data (performance, holdings, risk metrics) to produce insightful, data-driven responses that highlight competitive advantages.

Required Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field. An MBA (Finance) is a strong plus.

- 7 - 10 years of direct, hands-on experience writing and managing institutional RFPs within a global asset management firm, with a focus on active investment strategies.

- Superior written and spoken English, with an expert command of grammar, tone, and style.

- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word (including advanced editing features) and Excel (for data analysis and presentation).

- Demonstrated outstanding analytical skills with the ability to manage, interpret, and present complex data effectively.

- Excellent organizational and project management skills, with a proven ability to manage multiple deliverables under tight deadlines.

- A collaborative team player who can also work autonomously, with a critical eye for detail and a commitment to consistent, high-quality delivery.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Hands-on experience with and the ability to expertly use and maintain an RFP content database, specifically Qvidian.

- CFA or CAIA designation, or progress toward one.

- Experience with other proposal management or CRM tools.
