Senior Research Analyst & Fund Manager - Capital Goods/Defence Sectors - Buy Side

- Conduct comprehensive fundamental analysis of companies and industries within the Capital Goods / Defence sectors, Powers including financial statement analysis, valuation modelling, and assessment of industry trends.

- Has worked in BUY side

- Investment Recommendations : Generate and communicate actionable investment recommendations (Buy, Sell, or Hold) based on rigorous research and financial analysis.

- Financial Modelling : Build and maintain detailed financial models to forecast company performance, valuation, and investment returns.

- Report Writing : Prepare clear, concise, and insightful research reports and presentations for internal stakeholders and clients.

- Market Monitoring : Continuously monitor financial markets, sector developments, and macroeconomic indicators to identify emerging investment opportunities and potential risks.

- Collaboration : Work closely with portfolio managers and other analysts to provide research support and contribute to overall investment strategy discussions.

- Compliance : Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and internal compliance policies in all research activities

- Requirements: CA/CFA/MBA with minimum 10 years of experience in equity research with exposure to Capital Goods, and Defence sectors (no exceptions here)

- Exceptional analytical and quantitative skills with strong attention to detail. Ability to work independently, while meeting tight deadlines.

- Generate high-conviction, alpha-driven stock ideas. Communicate and present these ideas to Fund managers

- This is a dual role requiring both strong research expertise and the ability to eventually manage portfolio with discipline and conviction.
