Senior Research Analyst

Role Overview:

- The Senior Research Analyst will play a critical role in evaluating investment opportunities in listed Indian companies.

- The position involves deep fundamental research, including detailed study and analysis of company financial statements such as income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.

- The analyst will provide actionable insights and detailed reports to support investment decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct thorough fundamental research and financial analysis of publicly listed companies in India.

- Analyze company income statements, balance sheets, cash flows, and related disclosures to assess financial health and growth prospects.

- Build financial models and valuation analyses to identify investment opportunities.

- Monitor market and sector trends to provide a macroeconomic and microeconomic perspective on investments.

- Prepare detailed investment reports and recommendations for the fund management team.

- Track portfolio companies and update research based on quarterly results and other developments.

Candidate Requirements:

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Commerce, Finance, Accounting, or related fields.

- Strong understanding of Indian accounting principles and ability to analyze financial statements critically.

- Proficiency in financial modeling and valuation techniques.

- Detail-oriented with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Prior experience in an investment research role focused on Indian listed equities is a strong plus.
