Job Description

Job Purpose:

- Responsible and accountable for Sales and Business Development strategies and execution of the same for the Region in line with the broader corporate directives.

- Develop relationships and manage the existing ones with partners (Institutions) for investment in Company's various products.

- Responsible for increasing sales (AUM) and SOW of region through Institutional clients of the assigned Region as per targets in addition to coordinating, managing and monitoring activities in the assigned Region.

Key Responsibilities:

- Knowledge and experience in Debt Market, Key Account Relationship Management Skills, Excellent Soft Skills and Client Servicing Capabilities.

- Experience in Institutional Sales would be an added advantage, as he/she can bring in more client data for New Acquisitions to expand our client base and Market Intelligence through their existing Networks.

- Coordinating with Institutional clients & Distributors assigned to him/her to devise strategies and operational issues for augmenting sales and increasing AUM.

- Ensuring that the Channel Members in the region meet their sales targets in various KRAs of Debt, Equity, Arbitrage, Passive Funds, Activation and New Acquisition individually as well as show measurable increase in SOW from clients assigned.

- Liasoning with the Department of Funds Management, Products, Operations and Registrars and devising ways to provide value added services to the partner.

- Understands operations and business model of Institutions.

- Deliver high standards of service and maintain high levels of operational integrity.

- Ensure compliance, operational risk controls in accordance with Company or regulatory standards and policies.

- Demonstrates leadership and takes active interest in self-development of that of the team.

- Ensuring majority of PANs assigned to channels in the region are active.

- Good Networking skills within the industry to gather information & Client Leads.

- Needs both hunting and farming Sales skills to acquire New Clients and to harness the existing relationship to ensure Customer Delight.

- Organizing IAP's/Client Meet, webinars, and conferences

Required Skills & Experience:

- Minimum 10 years in Institutional Sales within top 15 AMCs
