Role Overview :

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced professional to join our Gems & Jewellery vertical as a Senior Relationship Manager. This role is pivotal in managing and expanding our portfolio of clients in the gems and jewellery sector, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction, risk management, and business growth.

Key Responsibilities :

- Manage and grow a portfolio of high-value clients in the gems and jewellery industry.

- Develop deep relationships with key stakeholders including manufacturers, wholesalers, and retailers.

- Conduct credit assessments and structure customized financial solutions.

- Create, identify, explore and assess business opportunities in existing and prospect clients. Aims to secure deals which maximize the bank's share of clients wallet.

- Remain close to the clients business activities in order to anticipate client needs, provide excellent service, deepen client relationship with the bank, monitor and control risk.

- Monitor account performance, ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory guidelines.

- Collaborate with credit, risk, and operations teams to ensure seamless service delivery.

- Stay updated on industry trends, market dynamics, and regulatory changes.

- Drive cross-sell of bank products including trade finance, forex, and treasury solutions.

Desired Candidate Profile :

Experience : Minimum 8 years in relationship management, preferably in the gems and jewellery or Wholesale Banking.

Education : Graduate/Postgraduate in Commerce, Finance, or related field. MBA preferred.

Skills :

- Strong understanding of the gems and jewellery industry.

- Excellent credit appraisal and risk assessment skills.

- Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills.

- Proficiency in MS Office and banking systems.
