Leading hedge fund with an international presence is looking for an exceptionally talented Quantitative Analyst for its Mumbai office with a potential for international travel to their global offices frequently Performing all data analysis tasks for Asset Management department with expertise in Equity &amp; Derivatives strategies Key Responsibilities : - Key owner of the Algorithmic Trading infrastructure - Manage team of Junior Quantitative Research Analysts - Maintain all data and updates required by Chief Investment Officer. - Partner with actuarial colleagues in various risk quantification projects. - Perform updates required for documents and files used by Asset Management department. - Preparation of documents for marketing, performance statistics and business development. Other Responsibilities : - Conceptualize and Back test quantitative strategies across asset classes. - Develop Hedge Fund strategies that would be deployed on the respective funds - Perform core research and statistical analysis on multiple asset classes such as equities, forex, commodities and bonds - Generate quantitative and financial reports for internal &amp; external stakeholders. - Understand, setup and maintain algorithmic trading infrastructure Key Requirements : Education: - Master's Degree in Science, Finance, Economics, Engineering or Quantitative Field from Premier/Tier 1 Institute in India/Abroad ( IIT/IIM/SP Jain/ JB/ XLRI/ MDI) Experience : - Minimum 4-8 years relevant experience preferred. - Good knowledge of / exposure to financial markets &amp; carries inherent skills of quantitative analysis. - Experience working with Hedge Funds in multiple asset classes would be a plus Competencies : - Fluent in using Excel and databases - Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills (both verbal and written communication skills) - Programming skills in VBA, R &amp; Python, excellent Quantitative skills - Knowledge of coding in Amibroker and MetaTrader would be preferred Location :&nbsp;Bandra, Mumbai - Candidates need to work in multiple geographies globally Reporting : Fund Manager/CIO Further Education : Sponsored Professional Certifications Variable / Bonus : Up to 100% of CTC based on performance
