
Role Overview:
We are seeking an accomplished Senior Project Manager with extensive experience in industrial construction and a proven track record of managing projects for Japanese manufacturing or industrial clients. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading end-to-end project execution while ensuring adherence to Japanese standards for safety, quality, documentation, and project delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end execution of industrial and factory construction projects from mobilization to final handover.
- Manage project planning, scheduling, budgeting, resource allocation, and cost control.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for Japanese client representatives and ensure effective stakeholder communication.
- Drive project execution in line with Japanese quality standards, including SQDCM principles and SOP-driven site management.
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and statutory requirements while promoting a zero-accident culture.
- Implement QA/QC processes, inspections, documentation, and non-conformance management.
- Manage subcontractors, consultants, vendors, and cross-functional project teams.
- Monitor project progress and ensure timely completion within budget and quality expectations.
Candidate Profile:
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Civil Engineering.
- 10-15+ years of experience in Construction Project Management.
- Proven experience delivering industrial or factory construction projects.
- Experience working with Japanese manufacturing or industrial clients in India is highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of RCC structures, structural steel, foundations, industrial flooring, utilities, and infrastructure works.
- Hands-on experience in project planning, execution, budgeting, QA/QC, site safety, and stakeholder management.
- Familiarity with Japanese project management practices such as SQDCM, SOP-driven execution, and KY (Hazard Prediction) will be an added advantage.
Preferred Industry Background:
- Candidates from leading EPC, industrial construction, or general contracting companies with experience executing projects for manufacturing clients.
