Role Summary:

We are seeking a high-caliber Senior PMO Lead with over 8 years of experience to spearhead project governance, strategic change management, and operational excellence. Based in Mumbai, this role is critical for maintaining the structural integrity of complex project portfolios. You will be responsible for institutionalizing rigorous governance frameworks, managing cross-functional dependencies, and providing high-level visibility to executive stakeholders. The ideal candidate is a master of project controls, capable of transforming raw project data into strategic insights while ensuring strict adherence to the Change Control Board (CCB) protocols.

Technical Responsibilities:

- Strategic Governance & CCB Leadership: Establish and lead the Change Control Board (CCB) process, ensuring all deviations from project scope, schedule, or budget are rigorously evaluated, documented, and approved.

- RAID Management & Mitigation: Maintain a proactive RAID (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, and Dependencies) log, conducting deep-dive impact analysis and facilitating mitigation workshops with technical leads.

- Executive Reporting & Insights: Design and deliver high-impact status reports and automated dashboards for executive leadership, translating complex project metrics into clear business outcomes.

- Portfolio Health Monitoring: Utilize Jira and MS Project to track project velocity, critical path milestones, and resource utilization across multiple workstreams.

- Advanced Data Analytics: Leverage Advanced Excel (Power Query, Macros, Pivot Modeling) to perform variance analysis, financial tracking, and capacity planning.

- Stakeholder Management: Act as the primary liaison between technical teams and executive management, driving accountability and ensuring alignment on project priorities.

- Process Standardization: Develop and implement standardized PMO templates, workflows, and best practices to improve project delivery consistency and speed.

- Financial & Budget Oversight: Track project burn rates, analyze budget variances, and ensure that all initiatives remain financially viable and aligned with the corporate strategy.

- Quality Assurance & Compliance: Conduct regular project audits to ensure compliance with internal governance standards and external regulatory requirements.

- Conflict Resolution & Negotiation: Navigate complex project dependencies and resource conflicts, negotiating solutions that protect the projects critical path.

Required Technical Skills:

- Project Tools: Mastery of Jira (Advanced Roadmaps, Query Language - JQL), MS Project, and Smartsheet.

- Analytical Tools: Expert-level Advanced Excel and proficiency in data visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI.

- Governance Frameworks: Deep understanding of PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile/Scrum methodologies.

- Reporting: Hands-on experience in building automated RAID logs and executive-level PPT reporting.

Preferred Skills:

- Agile Transformation: Experience in transitioning traditional PMO structures to Agile PMO (APMO) or Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) environments.

- Financial Modeling: Strong background in Capital Expenditure (CapEx) and Operational Expenditure (OpEx) tracking for large-scale IT projects.

- Strategic Tooling: Familiarity with Enterprise Project Management (EPM) software such as Clarity, Planview, or ServiceNow ITBM.

- Automation: Proficiency in using VBA or Python for automating repetitive PMO reporting tasks.

- Certifications: PMP (Project Management Professional) or PfMP (Portfolio Management Professional) is highly preferred.

- Change Management: Certification or experience in PROSCI or ADKAR change management models.
