Senior Project Manager

Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced and results-driven Senior Project Manager to lead and manage complex, cross-functional projects from inception to completion.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in end-to-end project delivery, stakeholder management, budgeting, team leadership, and risk mitigation-preferably in agile or hybrid environments.

This role requires a strategic thinker and a hands-on executor who can ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget while maintaining high quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Planning & Execution:

- Define project scope, objectives, timelines, resources, and deliverables.

- Develop comprehensive project plans, including work breakdown structures and schedules.

- Manage changes to project scope, schedule, and costs using appropriate verification techniques.

Team & Resource Management:

- Lead cross-functional project teams including developers, designers, QA, and business analysts.

- Allocate resources efficiently and monitor workloads to ensure balance and productivity.

- Mentor junior project managers and foster a high-performance culture.

Stakeholder Management:

- Serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders.

- Facilitate regular status meetings, reports, and presentations to leadership and clients.

- Manage stakeholder expectations and ensure alignment throughout the project lifecycle.

Risk & Issue Management:

- Identify project risks early and implement risk mitigation strategies.

- Resolve issues quickly and efficiently, escalating when necessary.

- Ensure quality assurance and control processes are followed.

Budgeting & Reporting:

- Prepare and manage project budgets, track costs, and ensure financial control.

- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and generate detailed project status reports.

- Ensure all documentation, compliance, and audit requirements are met.

Qualifications & Skills:

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, IT, or a related field.

- PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile/Scrum certification preferred.

- 10-15 years of overall experience, with at least 5 years in a project management role.

- Strong experience managing large-scale and complex projects (IT, construction, infrastructure, product development - as applicable).

- Proficient in project management tools like MS Project, JIRA, Asana, or Trello.

- Deep understanding of project methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, or hybrid).

- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.

- Ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure
