BACKGROUND TO THE ROLE - Our client is seeking a dynamic Senior Product Manager to lead the strategy, development, and success of their mobile applications business. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of delivering innovative mobile apps that meet customer needs and business objectives. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES - Product Strategy and Vision: Define and execute the product vision and strategy aligned with organizational goals. Identify market opportunities, customer pain points, and emerging trends. Develop and maintain a product roadmap. - Customer Insight and Research: Conduct market research, surveys, and competitive analysis. Translate insights into actionable features and enhancements. Collaborate with UX teams to ensure an exceptional customer experience. - Product Development and Execution: Partner with engineering, design, and marketing teams to deliver high-quality apps. Define and prioritize product requirements. Oversee the entire product lifecycle, from concept to post-launch optimization. - Performance Tracking and Optimization: Establish KPIs to measure product success. Monitor app performance, user engagement, and retention metrics. Use analytics tools to make data-driven decisions. - Stakeholder Collaboration: Act as a liaison between business, technical, and design teams. Present product updates and strategies to senior leadership. EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION - Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field; MBA preferred. - 5-7 years of product management experience in mobile apps or software products. - Strong understanding of iOS/Android platforms and app development processes. - Proficiency in tools like JIRA, Asana, and analytics platforms like Google Analytics or Mixpanel.
