About the Profile :

The person will lead the product development for vehicle management viz., Service & Maintenance Module, Asset Life cycle module and Fleet App used by on-ground executives across 40+ cities and 10,000+ vehicles.

He/she will be part of Efficiency Team and would be responsible for partnering with internal and external stakeholders like top management, technology leads, business finance team, city managers, fleet executives, process excellence teams, data scientists to drive strategies and effective decision making for the organization by building products that would add value to entire eco-system that are tightly inter-dependant.

We are looking for a Product Manager who embraces the challenges and uncertainty, break down complex problems into small and solvable problems. In an ever-increasing collaboration driven world, we are seeking someone can use deep insights on vehicle condition through customer interactions, operational inputs and IoT data to design and build product, platform apps and services.

This position is perfect for someone who loves working with top management, business finance, data scientists and architects; understands operational excellence, collaborates with teams across Zoomcar to define product feature roadmaps/execution plans and creates compelling demos that demonstrate the potential of these applications/workflows. The metrics chased by this position would be increasing the revenue/vehicle by building models on top of the asset data and how the outcome of these models can be consumed in different system, Efficiency of internal stakeholders via custom dashboards.

Primary Responsibilities :

- Responsible for building products for Asset Management, Fleet executives and Process Automation at scale.

- Gamification and incentivization for unlocking the supply of fleet enabling them to perform tasks in limited time based on car availability.

- Building Algorithms, Numerical Methods and Data Tactics used to drive operational excellence there by providing better user experience.

- Collaborate with multiple teams (tech/ops/UX/UI) in problem identification and defining the scope of problem with precise details.

- Define product roadmap and success metrics for all the suite of products that drive efficiency into system and responsible for building a team that delivers value with velocity.

- Owning End-to-End Product Launches and should be product evangelist for driving adoption across teams such as City Team, Process Excellence and Support Teams.

- Be comfortable with hands-on, day-to-day problem solving, implementing quick and effective action plans to meet short term priorities. Equally comfortable in generating a 2-year strategic vision.

- Work lean. Build out MVPs/proof-of-concept to prepare and present business reviews to Top Management.

Preferred Skill set :

- Previous work experience as a Product Manager with 3-5 years specific to product management.

- Hands on experience in gathering and analysis of data resulting in actionable insights.

- Demonstrate proficiency in tools like SQL, R and Excel and visualization platforms like Tableau will be added advantage.

- Route optimization tools - Locus would be added advantage.

- Knowledge of project management and design tools like Jira, Wireframing (Whimsical / Figma), Trello.

- Should know how to craft user stories and present it as per the audience at the same time having customer focus and passion for doing what is right for the customer.

- B.Tech from a top tier college (IIT/NIT/BITS or similar). Preferable to have a Master's degree in Operations Research - MBA (IIM/ISB or similar) or related quantitative fields from a top tier institute.

- Good communication and collaboration skills to work with cross functional teams and should know how to influence and motivate people.

- Strong independent thinker who works well in a team setting with strong time management and ruthless prioritization skills.

- Relentless drive for results Excellent judgment, decision making skills with ability to work independently in highly ambiguous environments.

- Ability to go technically deep and quickly ramp up on new technologies and understanding of new systems.
