Role Overview:

As a Senior Product Manager, you will be instrumental in defining and executing the product strategy for our core agricultural technology offerings. You will work closely with engineering, design, marketing, and sales teams to bring innovative solutions to market that address the evolving needs of farmers and the agricultural industry. This role involves deep interaction with farmers, understanding their pain points, and translating them into actionable product requirements. Your work will directly impact the livelihoods of farmers and contribute to a more sustainable and efficient agricultural ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities:

- Define and champion the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for assigned product areas, aligning with overall business objectives.

- Conduct thorough market research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities and unmet needs in the agricultural sector.

- Collaborate with engineering, design, and other cross-functional teams to translate product requirements into detailed specifications and user stories.

- Prioritize and manage the product backlog, ensuring alignment with business priorities and resource availability.

- Drive the product development lifecycle from concept to launch, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality execution.

- Analyze product performance data, gather user feedback, and iterate on product features to improve user engagement and satisfaction.

- Engage with farmers and other stakeholders to gather insights and validate product concepts.

- Develop and deliver product training and documentation for internal teams and external users.

- Monitor industry trends and emerging technologies to identify opportunities for innovation and product differentiation.

Required Skillset:

- Demonstrable ability to define and execute product strategies that drive business growth.

- Proven ability to conduct market research, analyze data, and identify user needs.

- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve complex issues.

- Deep understanding of the agricultural industry and its challenges.

- Ability to translate technical concepts into clear and concise language for both technical and non-technical audiences.

- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; MBA preferred.

- 5-8 years of experience in product management, preferably in the Agri tech sector.

- Adaptability to work in an on-site environment in Bangalore.
