Senior Process Lead - SOX Audit - CA

A prestigious client of Innoquest Consulting, a captive MNC in Insurance/Brokerage business is seeking Senior Process Lead for SOX Audit.

Summary:

A Senior Process Lead in a SOX audit role will focus on ensuring a company's financial reporting and internal controls are compliant with the Sarbanes-Oxley Act (SOX).

This role involves risk assessments, control testing, documentation, stakeholder collaboration, and ensuring compliance with SOX requirements and industry standards.

Mandatory Ask:

- CA with 5-15 years of experience with 8-15 years of Sox Compliance experience working with preferably financial services, insurance, insurance brokerage.

- Minimum of two years of work experience in public accounting and/or industry dealing with SOX Key control testing conducting risk-based SOX Audits.

- Should have experience in conducting risk based SOX audits.

- This includes supporting the audit team managers in the timely delivery of each audit assignment including, but not limited to, scoping the assignment, detailed testing of the scope area, agreeing findings, and escalating where required.

Roles and responsibility:

- Conduct risk based SOX audits: This includes supporting the Audit Team Managers in the timely delivery of each audit assignment including, but not limited to, scoping the assignment, detailed testing of the scope area, agreeing findings, and escalating where required.

- Document the results of audit work in accordance with the internal requirements and the International Standards for the Professional Practice of Internal Auditing (Standards) promulgated by the Institute of Internal Auditors.

- Communicate and maintain relationships with audit clients during the course of the audit process.

- Developing and Implementing SOX Audit Strategies and Processes which will involve creating frameworks and procedures for SOX compliance.
