IvyCap Ventures - Senior Portfolio Fund Raising & Exits Role

Description:

This role is a specialised senior investment position focused on supporting IvyCaps portfolio companies in large-scale fundraises (Series C and above) and exit / liquidity events. The role complements IvyCaps core investment team structure (refer enclosed JD) and strengthens post-investment value creation at the growth stage.

The individual will work closely with Managing Partners, investment teams, portfolio founders, boards, and external advisors.

Key Responsibilities:

Fundraising Support for our portfolio companies:

- Lead and support institutional fundraises of USD 15 Mn and above for IvyCap portfolio companies at Series C, D, and later stages.

- Partner with founders and CFOs to build institution-quality equity stories, financial narratives, and investor positioning.

- Manage the end-to-end fundraising process including:

- Investor targeting and engagement (PE, growth equity, sovereign and cross-over funds)

- Data room preparation and diligence coordination

- Term sheet evaluation, structuring, and negotiations

- Represent IvyCap in senior-level investor discussions and negotiations.

Exits & Liquidity Events:

- Drive and support exit planning and execution across the portfolio, including:

- Strategic M&A, Secondary transactions, Structured liquidity events

- IPO / pre-IPO readiness (where applicable)

- Work closely with investment bankers, legal advisors, and boards to ensure value-maximising outcomes.

- Support valuation discussions, buyer engagement strategy, and transaction execution.

Portfolio Value Creation:

- Collaborate with IvyCap investment teams to embed exit thinking and capital markets readiness across portfolio companies.

- Provide market intelligence on fundraising trends, valuations, and exit benchmarks.

- Strengthen IvyCaps reputation as a hands-on growth and exit partner, beyond capital deployment.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

- 10-15+ years of experience in Investment Banking, Big 4 Transaction / Deal Advisory, or institutional fundraising roles.

- Proven track record of:

- Managing Portfolio fundraising rounds (USD 15 Mn and above)

- Executing and supporting startup exits (M&A, secondary, IPO-linked processes)

- Strong exposure to global capital markets and institutional investors.

- Excellent transaction execution, structuring, and negotiation skills.

- High level of integrity, ownership mindset, and founder advisory capability.
