Senior Planning Manager - Fashion & Retail

Role: Senior Planning Manager Ethnic Fashion & Home Furnishing Retail

Location : Bengaluru

About the Role :

We are looking for an experienced planning professional to drive demand forecasting, inventory optimization, and sales planning for our Ethnic Fashion and Home Furnishing business. The role requires a strong understanding of retail planning, merchandising, and inventory management to maximize product availability and business performance.

Key Responsibilities :

- Develop demand forecasts using sales trends, seasonality, and market insights.

- Manage inventory levels to ensure optimum stock availability while minimizing excess inventory.

- Analyze sales performance, identify business opportunities, and present actionable insights through regular MIS and KPI reports.

- Partner with Merchandising, Buying, Design, Marketing, and Operations teams to align inventory with product launches and promotions.

- Improve planning processes and leverage ERP/BI tools for data-driven decision-making.

- Lead and mentor the planning team, driving operational excellence and continuous improvement.

Desired Profile :

- Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Fashion Merchandising, or a related discipline (Master's preferred).

- 8+ years of experience in Retail Planning, Merchandise Planning, Demand Planning, or Inventory Planning within Fashion, Ethnic Wear, Lifestyle, Home Furnishing, or Retail.

- Strong analytical skills with advanced Excel and BI/reporting tools.

- Hands-on experience with ERP and inventory planning systems.

- Excellent stakeholder management and leadership skills.
