Role Summary

We are seeking an experienced, independent, and driven Marketing Specialist to lead the planning, development and execution of the organisations global Marketing Plan for 2025 and beyond. The primary focus will be to enhance brand visibility, generate leads and support business growth in the clinical research domain, with particular emphasis on the North American and European markets.

This role reports to the Vice President of Business Development and will collaborate closely with stakeholders across operations and external agencies to ensure marketing initiatives are fully aligned with organisational goals.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and implement content plans for digital platforms (website, social media, marketing collateral and sales enablement tools).

- Monitor industry trends and competitor activities in external media.

- Work with operations teams, subject matter experts and stakeholders to create engaging visual and written content.

- Track and analyse content effectiveness to optimise ongoing campaigns.

- Ensure the organisations consistent presence on social media in line with brand strategy.

- Own and manage the social media editorial calendar and execution.

- Partner with the business development team to design and implement digital marketing campaigns that generate qualified leads.

- Oversee content and design updates to the company website, including coordination of technical back-end updates.

- Plan and manage SEO activities (on-page and off-page) to drive organic growth and improve search rankings.

- Manage paid media campaigns (search, social, display) to ensure consistent growth in search traffic.

- Select, onboard and manage external digital marketing agencies as required, ensuring optimum return on investment.

- Prepare and submit regular management reports on marketing performance, achievements, and improvement areas.

Qualifications and Experience

- Bachelors or Masters degree in Marketing or a related field.

- Minimum 3 years marketing experience, preferably in the clinical research, healthcare or life sciences sectors.

- Proven track record of success in content creation, digital marketing and use of analytics tools.

- Self-motivated, collaborative, and resourceful, with strong written and verbal communication skills.

- Excellent presentation and project management abilities.

- Hands-on expertise in developing and implementing marketing strategies in a B2B environment.
