Job Description:

We are hiring for a leadership role in Credit Compliance for a Leading Private Sector Bank. The role involves ensuring adherence to RBI regulations, internal policies, and maintaining a robust compliance framework across lending businesses.

Key Responsibilities:

- Review and examine credit proposals presented to the Credit Committee and highlight regulatory gaps or discrepancies

- Evaluate credit policies, procedures, and internal notes to ensure alignment with regulatory requirements

- Lead and manage a team supporting Business Groups in maintaining an effective compliance and control framework

- Provide advisory support on lending and credit-related matters from a compliance perspective

- Guide credit monitoring teams on EWS parameters, CRILC reporting, LDS, and regulatory submissions

- Support Fraud Monitoring Group on fraud reporting and RFA-related matters

- Stay updated with latest RBI regulations and ensure timely implementation

- Coordinate with stakeholders for RBI audits and provide required data/information

- Address observations from RBI inspection reports and identify root causes of non-compliance

- Liaise with regulators for clarifications when required

- Collaborate with Risk and Internal Audit teams on regulatory matters

- Conduct testing and monitoring of high-risk credit areas to ensure compliance

- Drive implementation of new RBI circulars related tolending and credit

Eligibility Criteria:

- Qualification: CA / MBA

- Experience: Relevant experience in Credit Compliance / Risk / Regulatory functions in Banking

- Strong understanding of RBI regulations and banking compliance frameworks

- Leadership experience preferred
