Senior Manager/Assistant Vice President - Risk & Policy - Unsecured Business Loan

Job Overview:

This job role will require the incumbent to lead & manage the Unsecured BIL division of the Risk Policy function of the company by supporting the development and implementation of risk policies and strategies specific to unsecured business loans, contributing to prudent risk management practices while supporting the company's growth objectives.

Key Roles & Responsibilities:

- Assist in the development and implementation of risk policies and frameworks tailored to unsecured business loan products, ensuring alignment with the company's risk appetite and regulatory guidelines.

- Support credit risk assessment processes for unsecured business loan applications, including credit scoring, underwriting standards, and risk segmentation, to mitigate credit losses and optimize portfolio performance.

- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies governing unsecured business loan underwriting and risk management practices, assisting in addressing regulatory changes and updates.

- Contribute to the implementation of portfolio monitoring mechanisms and conduct analysis of unsecured business loan portfolios, identifying emerging risks, trends, and opportunities for portfolio optimization.

- Assist in the development and implementation of risk mitigation strategies and action plans to address identified risks, such as delinquency, default, and fraud, while supporting business growth objectives.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Business Development, Product Management, Operations, and Collections, to integrate risk considerations into product development, customer acquisition, and portfolio management processes.

- Support in preparing regular risk reports and updates to senior management and relevant committees, contributing to highlighting key risk metrics, portfolio trends, and the effectiveness of risk management strategies.

Experience Required (In Years):

- Minimum 7 years in Risk Policy / Banking

- Relevant 3-4 years in BFSI/NBFC

Qualification Required:

- MBA/PGDM in any field
