Senior Manager Warehousing & Inventory Control

Location: Gurgaon

Purpose of the Role

The incumbent will be responsible for banking device procurement, imports, warehousing, and inventory control management, ensuring smooth operations through collaboration with cross-functional stakeholders and external vendors.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage end-to-end procurement, including requirement gathering, vendor evaluation, cost finalization through RFP, and contract execution with legal and user functions.

- Oversee warehousing and inventory control for all banking products/devices, ensuring demand planning, order management, and timely availability.

- Lead import operations, coordinating with foreign partners, freight forwarders, CHA, and customs to ensure timely deliveries.

- Track, review, and renew contracts related to procurement, warehousing, and inventory management; drive cost savings through negotiations.

- Engage with user functions to identify requirements, address procurement challenges, and improve processes.

- Coordinate with operations for vendor PO issuance and timely payments.

- Maintain and publish daily inventory reports, ensuring accuracy and visibility.

- Conduct data analysis and reporting for monthly procurement and inventory performance.

- Stay updated on industry trends, new products, and best practices in sourcing and warehousing.

- Manage vendor relationships to ensure competitive pricing and service delivery.

Experience & Skills Required

- 8+years of strong experience in sourcing, imports, warehousing, and inventory control management.

- Sound knowledge of procurement practices and governance.

- Proven ability in data analysis and using procurement insights for decision-making.

- Strong stakeholder and vendor management skills.

- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.

- Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities.

Qualification

- MBA or equivalent qualification.

- Added advantage: exposure to banking/financial device procurement.
