Role Overview :

As a Valuations Senior Manager based in Mumbai, you will spearhead complex valuation engagements, providing critical financial insights that drive strategic decisions for a diverse portfolio of clients, including large corporations, private equity funds, and emerging enterprises. You will lead projects from inception to completion, overseeing financial modeling, due diligence, and the preparation of comprehensive valuation reports. This role demands a blend of deep technical expertise in Business Valuation and exceptional client management skills, working closely with senior client stakeholders and internal advisory teams. Your contributions will directly influence significant investment, M&A, and financial reporting outcomes, solidifying our position as a trusted advisor in the market.

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead and execute complex Company Valuation engagements for various purposes, including M&A, financial reporting (e.g., purchase price allocation, goodwill impairment), strategic planning, and litigation support, ensuring rigorous analysis and adherence to global valuation standards for our diverse client base.

- Develop, review, and refine sophisticated financial models, including discounted cash flow (DCF), market multiples, and option pricing models, to accurately assess business and asset values, providing robust analytical foundations for client recommendations.

- Manage project teams, overseeing junior professionals, and fostering their technical and professional growth, to ensure the timely delivery of high-quality valuation reports and presentations that exceed client expectations.

- Present valuation findings and strategic recommendations to C-suite executives and board members, articulating complex financial concepts clearly and persuasively to facilitate informed decision-making and build strong client relationships.

- Actively contribute to business development initiatives by identifying market opportunities, preparing compelling proposals, and expanding the firm's client footprint in the Mumbai region and beyond.

- Stay abreast of industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging valuation methodologies, continuously enhancing our service offerings and maintaining our competitive edge in the Valuation advisory space.

Required Skillset :

- Demonstrated mastery in applying a comprehensive range of valuation methodologies, including discounted cash flow (DCF), market multiples, transaction multiples, and asset-based approaches, across various industries and asset classes.

- Exceptional financial modeling capabilities, with a proven track record of building, reviewing, and auditing complex valuation models, coupled with strong analytical acumen to interpret intricate financial data and market dynamics.

- Superior written and verbal communication skills, enabling the clear and concise articulation of complex valuation concepts and findings to both technical and non-technical audiences.

- Proven leadership abilities, including the capacity to mentor and develop junior team members, manage multiple projects concurrently, and drive successful outcomes in a fast-paced, client-centric environment.

- A professional qualification such as a Chartered Accountant (CA) or a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from a premier institution is essential, demonstrating a strong foundation in finance and business principles.
