Functional: - Evaluate individual and unit development needs via training need analysis - Create and execute learning strategies and programs for all job levels - Create development frameworks independently or in collaboration with external partners - Implement various learning methods for the unit (e.g., Instructor Led Training, Coaching and mentoring, job shadowing, etc.) - Design and deliver e-learning courses, workshops, and other trainings relevant to the unit - Assess the success of development plans and help employees make the most of learning opportunities - Help managers develop their team members through career pathing and coaching - Track budgets and negotiate contracts with external vendors - Create relevant dashboards and metrics to assess the impact of learning function Managerial: - Manages, coaches, and develops a high-performing L&D team that meets agreed objectives and which delivers best practice results, added value, and continuous improvements - Sets department objectives/KPIs and review and assess ongoing performance of direct reports - Handles report on achievement of targets to Head HR and identify any actions required
