
Description:
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and review complex or high-risk T1, T2, and T3 tax returns.
- Lead and develop a team of seven tax professionals.
- Oversee corporate tax compliance and planning.
- Review and ensure accuracy of work prepared by junior staff.
- Support business development and client relationship management.
- Utilize professional tax and office software (Caseware, Caseview, Excel, Word, Taxprep).
Requirements:
- CPA Designation.
- Post-secondary degree in Accounting, Business, Commerce, or Finance.
- Enrolled in or completed the CPA In-Depth Tax Program.
- Minimum 5 years public accounting experience, including 2+ years reviewing files.
- Strong background in Canadian corporate tax and tax planning.
