
Senior Manager - Talent Acquisition
Role Overview:
We are looking for an experienced Senior Manager - Talent Acquisition (Non-Technology) to lead and drive end-to-end hiring across Sales, Business Development, Marketing, Operations, Finance, HR, Customer Success, Customer Support, and other corporate functions.
The role will be responsible for developing recruitment strategies, managing key stakeholders and clients, leading recruitment teams, building strong talent pipelines, and ensuring consistent delivery against hiring targets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute recruitment strategies for non-technology functions across multiple business units or clients.
- Own hiring plans, recruitment targets, delivery timelines, and overall talent acquisition outcomes.
- Build scalable sourcing strategies for both volume and specialized hiring.
- Develop talent pools and market maps for critical and recurring positions.
- Identify recruitment bottlenecks and implement strategies to improve hiring efficiency and quality.
- Stay updated on talent-market trends, salary benchmarks, competitor hiring activity, and talent availability.
- Lead hiring across functions including Sales & Business Development, Marketing & Digital Marketing, Operations & Supply Chain, Finance & Accounting, HR & Administration, Customer Success, Customer Support, Business Operations, Corporate / Shared Services, and other business and support functions.
- Oversee sourcing, screening, interviewing, assessment, offer management, negotiation, and joining.
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of Talent Acquisition Consultants / Recruiters.
- Act as a senior point of contact for hiring managers, HR leaders, business heads, and clients.
- Own overall recruitment delivery against agreed hiring targets and SLAs.
- Develop and optimize sourcing strategies across Naukri, LinkedIn, Indeed, Employee referrals, Internal databases, Professional networks, Passive sourcing, and Industry mapping.
- Establish high standards for candidate experience across the recruitment lifecycle.
- Own recruitment reporting, dashboards, and MIS for leadership and clients.
- Identify opportunities to improve recruitment processes, productivity, and turnaround time.
- Support employer branding and talent engagement initiatives.
Required Skills & Experience:
- 7-12 years of experience in Talent Acquisition, recruitment consulting, staffing, RPO, or corporate recruitment.
- Strong experience in non-technology recruitment across Sales, Business Development, Marketing, Operations, Finance, HR, Customer Support, and other corporate functions.
- Proven experience managing and mentoring recruitment teams.
- Strong stakeholder and client management experience.
- Experience managing multiple hiring mandates, business units, or clients.
- Strong understanding of sourcing strategies and recruitment channels including Naukri, LinkedIn, Indeed, referrals, databases, and passive sourcing.
- Strong candidate assessment, negotiation, and closure skills.
- Strong understanding of recruitment metrics, SLAs, productivity, and hiring funnels.
- Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-management skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Ability to operate in a target-driven, high-volume, fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in HR, Business Administration, Commerce, or a related field.
- MBA / PGDM in HR is an advantage.
- Recruitment / HR certifications are a plus.
- Experience in staffing, recruitment consulting, RPO, executive search, or agency recruitment is preferred.
- Experience handling enterprise clients or large-scale hiring programs is an added advantage.
