Senior Manager - Supply Chain - Pharma

We are seeking an experienced Senior Manager - Supply Chain to lead and manage end-to-end supply chain operations, ensuring seamless planning, supplier coordination, inventory optimization, and on-time product availability across markets. The role reports to the Head - Supply Chain and requires strong execution capability in a regulated, multi-stakeholder environment.

Key Responsibilities:

- Manage day-to-day supply chain operations, including MRP, Master Production Scheduling, monthly S&OP cycles, and review forums

- Lead order management: demand conversion to POs, supplier confirmations, and delivery tracking

- Drive supplier coordination and governance, including weekly/adhoc reviews, MoMs, and escalation management

- Ensure on-time manufacturing, packing, and dispatch in line with contractual commitments

- Collaborate cross-functionally on root cause analysis, deviation management, CAPA, and AWS changes

- Coordinate with international marketing teams on supply feasibility and critical SKU planning

- Work closely with logistics, manufacturing partners, and internal teams for dispatch and fulfilment - planning

- Own inventory management, risk mitigation, and ageing control

- Lead supplier performance management, including DIFOT, KPI dashboards, and monthly MIS reporting

- Handle price negotiations for large sales volumes and tender business

- Manage supply agreements, addendums, and compliance documentation

- Support re-packing activities for market-specific or opportunity sales requirements

- Coordinate with cross-functional teams on second sourcing, bulk strategies, MOQ optimization, and batch size fulfilment

- Drive new product / molecule launch readiness, including coordination with Regulatory Affairs and patent timelines

- Ensure timely implementation of artwork (AW) changes to avoid write-offs and material destruction costs

- Proactively manage supply risks, escalations, and continuity planning
