Senior Manager - Supply Chain Excellence

Role Overview:

The SCM Excellence role is a pivotal position responsible for driving continuous improvement and optimization across the entire supply chain. This role collaborates closely with cross functional teams, including procurement, logistics, manufacturing, and quality, to identify areas for enhancement and implement best-in-class supply chain practices. The ultimate goal is to improve efficiency, reduce costs, enhance quality, and ensure a resilient and agile supply chain that meets the evolving needs of the business and its customers.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead the development and implementation of supply chain excellence initiatives, aligning with overall business objectives.

- Conduct in-depth analysis of current supply chain processes to identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and areas for improvement.

- Design and implement process improvements using Lean, Six Sigma, and other process excellence methodologies to enhance supply chain performance.

- Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track progress, measure the impact of initiatives, and drive accountability.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement changes, ensuring buy-in and effective execution.

- Manage supply chain analytics projects, leveraging data to identify trends, predict potential issues, and optimize decision-making.

- Drive quality improvements throughout the supply chain, working with suppliers and internal teams to ensure adherence to quality standards.

- Lead and manage supply chain-related projects, ensuring on-time and within-budget delivery.

- Develop and deliver training programs to enhance supply chain capabilities across the organization.

- Stay abreast of industry best practices and emerging trends in supply chain management, and proactively recommend and implement relevant innovations.

- Identify new areas of supply chain transformation across the procurement and logistics areas

- Execute transformation projects which enable a lean and agile supply chain team

- Conduct analysis of market data, competitors, internal business and commercial data to develop business case for new initiatives

- Support the Lead - supply chain excellence in crafting the transformation agenda

- Experience of SAP MM/ E Procurement tool and SQL

- Detail the areas of partnerships through business analysis and functional understanding

- Manage the documentation for setting up and operationalizing the partnership

- Develop periodic reports for the consumption of senior leaders
