Senior Manager - Supply Chain


Description:


The Senior Manager Supply Chain will be responsible for leading end-to-end order fulfillment, supply planning, and inventory optimization for Modern Trade (MT) and General Trade (GT) channels. The role will partner closely with sales, sourcing, logistics, and warehouse teams to ensure service excellence, cost efficiency, and scalability in a fast-paced, growth-driven environment.


Key Responsibilities:

Order & Business Operations Management

- Lead the complete order-to-delivery lifecycle for MT & GT customers, ensuring timely execution, compliance, and high service levels.

- Anticipate execution bottlenecks and proactively drive cross-functional resolution to minimize business disruption.

- Partner with sales leadership to align order prioritization with revenue targets and channel strategies.


Supply & Inventory Planning

- Drive inventory planning and dispatch alignment to maintain optimal stock levels across channels.

- Own monthly rolling forecasts and demand insights in collaboration with sales and planning teams.

- Monitor ageing and slow-moving inventory and implement corrective actions to reduce obsolescence and working capital risk.


Customer & Stakeholder Collaboration

- Act as the senior point of contact for MT & GT supply chain interactions with distributors, retailers, and key accounts.

- Build strong cross-functional alignment with sales, sourcing, logistics, and warehouse teams to deliver on service commitments.

- Lead issue resolution and ensure clear, timely communication with all stakeholders.


Process, Systems & Continuous Improvement

- Ensure data accuracy and document integrity across ERP and order management platforms to enable seamless billing and closure.

- Identify process gaps in order flow, invoicing, and returns, and lead improvement initiatives.

- Drive automation, standardization, and best-practice adoption across MT & GT supply chain operations.


Performance Analytics & Governance

- Own and track key supply chain KPIs including Fill Rate, OTIF (On-Time-In-Full), DOH (Days on Hand), and customer service metrics.

- Present actionable insights and performance dashboards for leadership reviews and decision-making.

- Identify trends, risks, and opportunities, and recommend strategic process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.


Required Experience:

- 10 to 15 years of progressive experience in supply chain, order management, or planning roles.

- Strong exposure to FMCG / CPG / Consumer-driven environments, with hands-on experience in MT & GT channels.

- Proven track record in leading cross-functional teams and managing complex, high-volume operations.

- Experience working with ERP / SAP / Order Management Systems.


Qualifications:

- Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Operations, Engineering, or Business Administration.

- MBA / Postgraduate qualification in Supply Chain or Operations Management preferred.
