Job Description: Sr Manager - Security and Crisis Management Job Summary: The Security and Crisis Management person will be responsible for developing and implementing security strategies, policies, and procedures to ensure the safety and security of the company's assets, employees, and operations. This role is based at the Head office and reports directly to the Security Head. The company, a leading independent power producer in the wind energy sector, operates projects across various states, necessitating robust and coordinated security, crisis management strategies and business continuity operations. The incumbent will also be responsible for crisis management planning and response, ensuring that the company can effectively handle and recover from any emergency situations. Roles and Responsibilities: -Oversee the investigation of security breaches, and other incidents. -Prepare reports and make recommendations for preventing future incidents. -Ensure that all incidents are documented and analyzed. -Conduct risk assessments and security audits across all sites and facilities. -Monitor security operations and manage security staff and contractors. -Develop and maintain crisis management plans and procedures. -Lead the crisis management team in responding to emergencies. -Coordinate with local authorities and emergency services during crises. -Develop and deliver security training programs for employees. -Raise awareness of security protocols and crisis management plans. -Conduct regular drills and simulations to ensure preparedness. -Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and standards. -Prepare and present security reports to senior management. -Liaise with project managers and site security teams to ensure consistent security practices, and business continuity. -Foster relationships with external security agencies and service providers to ensure business continuity. Skills and Qualifications: -Bachelor's degree with relevant experience in Security Management and Crisis Management. -Overall experience of 10 to 12 years preferably from project-oriented industries. -Strong knowledge of security protocols, risk management, and crisis management. -Familiarity with security systems, surveillance technologies, and incident reporting tools. -Excellent leadership and team management skills. -Effective communication and interpersonal skills. -Ability to work under pressure and make quick, effective decisions. -Willingness to travel to various project sites as needed. -Proficient in MS Excel, Word & PowerPoint. -Security Certification preferred.
