Job Summary:
We are seeking a high-performing and driven Senior Manager - Sales to lead sales initiatives, drive revenue growth, and manage client relationships across key markets. The role involves building and leading a team, managing large accounts, and executing go-to-market strategies to capture new opportunities.
You will play a critical role in expanding market share, strengthening customer engagement, and mentoring the next generation of sales professionals.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Planning & Strategy
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies aligned with business goals.
- Identify growth opportunities across geographies, sectors, and customer segments.
- Forecast sales performance, track KPIs, and deliver regular performance reports to leadership.
Business Development & Client Management
- Drive new business development through proactive outreach, networking, and partnerships.
- Manage key accounts and ensure long-term client satisfaction and retention.
- Understand client needs and position products/services effectively to meet their business goals.
Team Leadership
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of sales executives/managers.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and provide coaching for professional growth.
- Set clear targets, incentive plans, and a high-performance sales culture.
Revenue Ownership
- Achieve and exceed sales targets (monthly, quarterly, and annual).
- Own the full sales cycle - lead generation, proposal creation, negotiation, and closing deals.
- Monitor sales metrics, conversion rates, pipeline status, and team productivity.
Cross-functional Collaboration
- Work closely with the marketing team to plan campaigns and generate leads.
- Collaborate with product and operations teams to deliver value-based solutions to clients.
- Support finance and legal teams with contract closures and compliance documentation.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; MBA is a plus.
- 8-10 years of progressive sales experience, preferably in B2B / enterprise sales environments.
- Proven experience in managing teams and handling large accounts or territories.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Hands-on experience with CRM tools like Salesforce, Zoho CRM, or similar platforms.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and decision-making skills.
