Description:
Key Responsibilities:
I. Sales and Customer Engagement:
- Loan Proposal Appraisal: Travel to various locations to directly meet identified potential customers and conduct thorough, on-site appraisals of loan proposals to assess risk and viability.
- Delinquency Management: Proactively handle chronic and delinquent accounts, initiating appropriate collection and settlement actions to ensure timely closure or resolution of outstanding loans and minimize Non-Performing Assets (NPAs).
II. Team Management and Productivity:
- Sales Officer Monitoring: Supervise and monitor the daily activities of the Sales Officers across all designated locations, ensuring strict adherence to company policies and sales processes.
- Productivity Oversight: Monitor the monthly productivity of all Sales Officers and take corrective actions to ensure 100% compliance with established monthly productivity norms and targets.
III. Business Development and Sourcing:
- Sourcing Agent Motivation: Regularly engage with and motivate sourcing agents at all locations to ensure a steady and consistent flow of high-quality business leads from major sourcing channels.
- Business Flow Assurance: Implement strategies to ensure a regular and sustained flow of business across all operational locations, aligning with monthly and quarterly targets.
IV. Marketing and Planning:
- Marketing Strategy: Develop and execute a comprehensive monthly calendar of local marketing activities for all assigned locations.
- Activity Monitoring: Conduct daily monitoring and review of planned marketing activities to assess effectiveness, course-correct, and maximize market penetration and brand visibility.
Qualifications and Skills:
Experience: 5 to 10 years of experience in Sales or Business Development, preferably within the Banking or Financial Services industry, with a proven track record in loan appraisal, collections, and team management.
Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
An MBA or equivalent is a plus.
Skills:
- Strong analytical skills for loan appraisal and risk assessment.
- Excellent leadership and team motivation abilities.
- Proven negotiation and problem-solving skills for handling delinquent accounts.
- Proficiency in sales planning, budgeting, and performance monitoring.
- Willingness to travel extensively within the designated operational area.
